MILLION DOLLAR FINALE

And the last episode of The Million Dollar Neighbourhood has aired and the winner of the $100,000.00 is Irene! We are so happy for her and her family. This whole experience of being a part of a reality "social experiment" on OWN was amazing. Although the show has come to an end, the lessons we learned, the challenges we experienced and the friends that we made will be with us forever.

One of my most happy moments during the last episode is that the camera men got our whole family together in one shot. My son Max never really wanted to be involved and therefore was never on TV until the very last episode. Well, in a way you can hardly recognize him with the words on the screen covering his eyes, but I know it is him!!!!

Thank you Force Four Entertainment and OWN for a life changing experience!

If you did not catch the last episode, you can watch it here!

That's a wrap!

EVERYONE IS DOING IT!!!

Taking "The Passionate Home's Basic Upholstery Workshop" that is!!
Pat is very busy working on her little stool, that turned out very pretty by the way!

Reid gave us all a quick peek into how easy it is to redo a chair like this...

I am excited to give it a try!

Step by step...amazing things began to happen!

Everyone measured, cut, folded and stapled...

and worked to get their patterns perfectly centered!!!

It is all about those corners!

2 hours goes by quickly when you are having fun...

almost done!

And...we DID IT!

Congratulations everyone and much luck on your future projects!

IS IT WORK OR PLAY?

There is always lots of action at our Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Workshops!

Everyone is so creative!

So many beautiful colours and beautiful people too!

But it is not all play...there is some work involved!!!

(If you can call this work??)

Like some heavy duty brush work....

and getting along with others...

and note taking...

and listening to the teacher...

But at the end of the day...
Another wonderful happy class of ANNIE SLOAN CHALK PAINT GRADUATES!

Thank you ladies!

Happy Painting and keep up the Good Work!
